MUSIC, HUMAN CREATIVITY, & THE METAVERSE
MΞT∆VΞRSΞR∆DIO supports the proposition that the Metaverse is, at its best, an international gathering place for humanity and that the official language of the Metaverse is music. Music, like the visual arts, is a transcendent and unifying gift to humanity.
As such, the Metaverse presents unmatched and yet unimaginable international exposure opportunities for vast numbers of independent or "underground" musicians. This is significant and promising news for a world whose level of musical creativity is going nuclear: we live in an era that sees more than 60,000 songs uploaded to Spotify every day.
Humanity is transitioning further away from manual concerns. Consider, for instance, automation and human labor displacement. In this environment, humans will continue to pursue meaning through existence and, as part of that pursuit, will embrace creativity like never before. These creative souls will increase in numbers and their creativity will flourish more than ever, thereby generating even greater quantities of art and music. This increased expression of creativity will deserve sizable outlets that are not yet in existence.
The timing for expansive metaversal development and its pairing with advanced Blockchain technology could not be better.
The Blockchain, with its ability to verify digital identity and secure provenance, is increasingly empowering independent recording artists and emerging musicians with a means to capture revenue streams without relying on approval or consent from traditionally "controlling industry gatekeepers."
Hence, the term "defy" takes on new meaning ("de-fi") in our brave new world.
Consistent with the Platonic forms, the coalescence of the Metaverse, the IIID web, and the Blockchain, is rapidly establishing an important epoch in the history of music, the visual arts, and indeed humanity.
MΞT∆VΞRSΞR∆DIO and i1m encourage the decentralized ascent of human creativity, focusing especially on quality, interoperability, and interactivity of auditory senses within both the IIID digital landscape and our physical life existence (i.e., within the Interverse).
We believe in breaking barriers, building bridges, and increasing individual maneuver space in each realm. While pursuing these efforts, we support artistry and discourage a feared dystopian future within the quickly developing Metaverse.
